It was such a wonderful day when we recently had a debate with our adult literacy classes.
All in ENGLISH!
The majority of these men and women struggled with English only 6 months ago - and here today the beginners and intermediate class were able to debate in English!
It was remarkable to see the advancement in these men and women.
They debated the topic - Village life is better than city life.
A hearty debate took place between the two classes as they argued their points on what life is really better - city or village.
Both had great points and both were clear in their pronunciation.
A HUGE congratulations to all our students and our teachers who are making such a wonderful impact in Katanga slum.
The ability to speak and read english will help them dramatically in this multi language country!
