Malnutrition is one of the leading causes of child mortality and illness in children under 5 in Uganda. It can lead to life long complications and developmental delays. Simply ensuring children have access to good nutritional care, these children can often catch up and find themselves growing and developing as normal in a short period of time. By purchasing this gift on behalf of someone else, you are enabling us to care for a baby/toddler in our malnutrition clinic. 
The babies in this clinic receive medical care ( including reviews by a Dr and nurses, vitamins, deworming etc), high nutritious porridge and fruits and vegetables at our clinic each day, along with at home support. They also will attend our creche baby classes where they'll be loved and cared for and do exercises etc to help their development.
